It’s here! The 3rd edition of Timeless Film Festival Warsaw begins today
We’ve been waiting to say these words to you: the 3rd edition of Timeless Film Festival Warsaw is now underway. Ahead of us are 11 days filled with timeless stories, live music and encounters that linger long in the memory. The silver screens of Warsaw’s cinemas are about to light up with classics we will experience together and rediscover anew. Welcome aboard.
Opening night: meet us at Muranów cinema and celebrate its history
This evening belongs to a place that, for many, is the beating heart of cinematic Warsaw. At 8:30 pm, Muranów cinema will host the festival’s official opening, accompanied by a screening of the documentary Le Muranow de Varsovie.
This will be a special event: the screening will be attended by the filmmakers and protagonists of the documentary, including its director Olga Prud’homme Farges. It is the only chance during the festival to meet her in person and talk about the magic of this extraordinary place.
Tickets for the screening are already sold out, but we encourage you to try the Last Minute queue.

Timeless at a glance: practical information
Before you let yourself be swept away by festival emotions, here are a few useful pointers:
- Festival Centre: you’ll find it at Muranów cinema. This is where you can collect your passes and accreditations (open from 12:00 pm).
- Festival venues: this year, screenings are taking place at three Warsaw cinemas:
Muranów, Luna and Iluzjon. You can check the box office opening hours for each
venue here. - Last Minute queues: no ticket for a sold-out screening? All is not lost. If the screening you want is sold out, join the dedicated queue at the sign for that screening, which opens 30 minutes before the start. Once all ticket and reservation holders have entered, we will admit a limited number of people from the queue, depending on the number of seats still available. Passes are honored automatically; all other viewers will be directed to the festival box office.

Latin American Fever: let it begin
Today we would particularly like to draw your attention to the Classic Latin American Cinema section. It is a rare opportunity to see films from Argentina, Bolivia and Brazil that seldom appear on Polish screens. This is cinema full of temperament, political force and magical realism – a perfect way to begin the festival.
At 1:30 pm at Iluzjon cinema, we will screen The Custodian by Rodrigo Moreno, while at 3:30 pm at Muranów cinema we invite you to see Like Water For Chocolate by Alfonso Arau.

More than screenings: today’s special events
Later in the evening, make your way to Iluzjon, where two special events await:
- 8:00 pm, Iluzjon cinema (Mała Czarna screening room): I Have Lived Seventeen Times from the 8 × Kawalerowicz section. Before the screening, the film’s director Stanisław Zawiśliński will give an introduction, and afterwards stay with us for a conversation with the filmmaker, moderated by Julia Palmowska.
- 8:30 pm, Iluzjon cinema (Stolica screening room): before the cult horror film The Cars That Ate Paris, we invite you to experience Peter Weir’s Dream Within a Dream, an installation by Jakub Duszyński. This visual journey into the imaginative world of the Australian master can only be seen during the festival.

The Timeless way of life
- Merch: bags, T-shirts, caps, posters and books await you at the Festival Centre in Muranów cinema. Dress Timeless from day one and carry the style with you throughout the festival.
- Festival clubs: after the final screenings, join us for late-night conversations, music and dancing at Bar Studio and Pardon, To Tu. This is where the festival’s social heart beats.
- Audience discounts: remember that with a festival ticket or pass you are entitled to discounts at selected partner food and drink venues. You can find the full list here.
We wish you timeless cinematic experiences – and see you in the world of the festival.
