SpoilerMaster Presents

For nearly seven years, I’ve been hosting the SpoilerMaster podcast, with more than half of its nearly 300 episodes dedicated to cinema classics. My mission has always been bringing the classics closer, discussing them, and constantly reminding audiences that a film from 60 years ago can be spiritually much younger than the latest blockbuster.

I was delighted to accept Roman Gutek’s invitation to curate the SpoilerMaster section at the 2nd Timeless Film Festival. This year, we follow the thread of round anniversaries and celebrate at least one very special birthday. From the banks of the Vistula to the British provinces of the Regency era, from Parisian theaters of the July Monarchy to a Hollywood soundstage version of Morocco—these cinematic landscapes live on in my memory, often more vividly than the geographical locations I’ve visited.

That’s the magic of cinema—the spaces it creates detach themselves from geography, while making it possible to do exactly what I hereby do: invite you to the land of my own memories. Each film in this section holds a special place in my heart. Let’s meet there.
