Tribute to David Lynch

David Lynch always knew there’s no such thing as a single reality. After all, much of his filmography was built on that very belief. He also understood that what terrifies us most is what lurks between realities – the unknown with a human face. And that evil often hides where we least expect it. Lynch was one of the rare filmmakers capable of creating dread both in darkness and in broad daylight.

It’s worth looking at his work as a whole. Suddenly, you realize that what we call “Lynchian” doesn’t always have to be dreamlike or pulsating with underlying fear.

This year’s Timeless Film Festival Warsaw will remind us of that with a complete retrospective of David Lynch’s feature and short films.
