The date of the second edition of the festival has been announced!

We are thrilled to announce the second edition of the Timeless Film Festival Warsaw, taking place from April 7–14, 2025. Last year’s inaugural edition drew over 30,000 viewers, underscoring the enduring appeal of classic films on the big screen.

The festival, founded by Roman Gutek, celebrates timeless masterpieces restored to their original glory while catering to the tastes of today’s audiences. Recent advances in digital restoration have increased the visibility of classic cinema worldwide, sparking a wave of new festivals dedicated to showcasing film heritage. The Timeless Film Festival embraces this trend, carving out its own unique space on Warsaw’s cultural landscape.

But the festival’s mission extends beyond simply presenting vintage films. Through a carefully curated program, it seeks to reinterpret classic cinema, shedding light on hidden gems and lesser-known aspects of film history. This distinctive narrative invites viewers to broaden their perspective on cinema’s most iconic works and the global canon.

This year’s program will feature around 70 full-length films, alongside short films — animation and documentary — organized into director and actor retrospectives, thematic series, anniversary screenings, and archival documentaries about Warsaw, as well as special screenings accompanied by live music. Screenings will take place at several venues: Muranów Cinema, Iluzjon Cinema, KINOMUZEUM at the Museum of Modern Art, and Syrena Cinema at the Museum of Warsaw.

The Timeless Film Festival is organized by the Timeless Film Foundation in collaboration with the National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Museum of Warsaw.
