Wednesday at the Timeless Film Festival Warsaw – Day Three

The timeless adventure continues! The first screenings are behind us – packed cinemas, lively post-film discussions, and inspiring encounters around iconic titles. What’s ahead? Here’s what Wednesday brings at the 2nd edition of Timeless Film Festival Warsaw.

Cinema connections made easy

A quick reminder: this year’s festival takes place across four cinemas, all conveniently accessible by metro: Ziemia Obiecana (near Służew metro station), Iluzjon Cinema (near Pole Mokotowskie station), Muranów Ciema (near Ratusz Arsenał station), Luna Cinema (close to Politechnika station). The exact addresses of each cinema can be found here.

The Brothers Quay: Into the Labyrinth of Imagination

We’re thrilled to welcome the Brothers Quay to this year’s festival — true masters of stop-motion animation whose hauntingly surreal films have reshaped experimental cinema. At 3:45 PM in Iluzjon Cinema, we present a program of their short films. At 8:30 PM, also in Iluzjon, don’t miss Institute Benjamenta, or This Dream That People Call Human Life, their visionary first feature.

Let’s talk about cinema

We know how much you love film discussions – that’s why tonight at 8:30 PM, Luna Cinema becomes home to a special session hosted by Pełna Sala Film Club. Film critic and scholar Paweł Teszner will lead an after-screening conversation around Andrzej Żuławski’s That Most Important Thing: Love.

If you’re visiting Muranów Cinema, keep your eyes peeled for our festival merch. We’ve got you covered: coffee, tote bags, posters, and even baseball caps (because we believe in springtime sunshine!). Take us home and let the word timeless take on new meaning.

But before heading home, swing by the festival club at Bar Studio, where each day ends with cinema chats and plans for the next screenings. See you there!
